We are not throwing a party so much as gathering the people who made us. Every seat in that church belongs to somebody who carried us here, and one of them is yours.

The two of us
One of us builds systems that hold information. The other keeps a building full of it. We have been quietly organising a life together ever since.
The Groom
Web Developer
Builds things for the web for a living: interfaces, systems, and the occasional 2 a.m. bug fix. He is the one who reads the documentation, keeps the receipts, and hand-coded the website you are reading right now, which is his way of saying that some things are worth building carefully.
Writes code. Ships fixes. Overthinks semicolons.
The Bride
University Librarian
Keeps an entire library in order and still knows exactly where every story lives. She is the calm inside the noise, the one who remembers every birthday, chooses the right words, and has been quietly writing the best chapter of this story all along.
Curates books. Keeps order. Wins every argument kindly.

How we got here
One of us organises information for a living. The other organises books. It turns out those are the same job with different tools, and we have been comparing notes ever since.
Late shifts, long drives, quiet Sundays, and a thousand small decisions that never made it into a photograph. That is where the love actually happened.
So we are gathering the people who shaped us, in a church that has stood for almost two centuries, to say the thing out loud in front of God and all of you.
Where
The church has been standing since the 1800s. The reception is the part we are still choosing.

The Augustinian church of Santa Barbara has stood since the 1800s and is remembered as the cradle of the revolution in Panay. We would love you seated before the processional begins.
